Sweet Disposition February 28, 2010

Just bought this song by the Temper Trap and i remember loving it in 500 Days of Summer but I never knew who it was…

The past two days have been super memorable because I spent them with great friends and just having a blast. Yesterday (Friday) my friend Andy from L.A. came up to SB to visit and Jessica, Barby, Andy , and I all went bowling and i think had one of the best times I’ve had bowling. EVER.  After bowling we walked to Freebirds in the rain…not a great idea but sooooo worth it!  In between we had a mini dance party too.  And then today I didn’t do anything amazing but I pretty much had a blast with my bestie/roomie! We drove downtown around 10pm to get dinner and then got pinkberry, came back played scrabble and scatagories, and pretty much had a super fun night being random and silly!

I tried watching The Godfather today but it is just too dang long (2hrs and 57 min), so I am just going to finish it tomorrow!  Speaking of tomorrow: HOMEWORK ALL DAY! STUDY ALL DAY! NO PROCRASTINATION ALLOWED!  seriously I need to stick to this because I need to get good grades on my midterm and test that are this week!

Packing, Packing, and more Packing June 22, 2009

Wow I know it has been ages since I have written anything on here but i have been more than busy!  I’m moving to Santa Barbara in three days and have hardly started packing.  Literally I have two boxes packed, and my room doesnt look any different…

Let’s see…summer has begun and I am so excited to move out of Sonoma, and to wake up and be able to see the ocean EVERYDAY! Cannot even wait!  My two best friends are down in Socal and love it, i’ve visited many times and have fallen in love with Santa Barbara! As of right now, i don’t have much of a plan, which is actually stressing me out a bit.  I really want to go to UCSB, but cannot apply until fall for next fall…so until then I’m going to got to SBCC and take some classes, hopefully get my AA in Art History.

I have seriously applied to ten places down there, and havent gotten any call backs!! I still have one app to turn in, but am kinda disappointed that I haven’t heard from anywhere

I have sooo much to do so i think im going to stop here today, but i don want to leave you with some of my new favorites…

• Love Love Love this song by The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, it’s called The Sun Ain’t Shining No More! really catchy!
• O and if you haven’t already seen it rent True Blood season 1, its pretty much a complete better version of Twilight, more for like 18yrs and up, but wayyyy better than Twilight…there are even books you can read before you watch it…makes me  wonder how Stephanie Meyers came up with Twilight….hmmmmmmm

Marvelous Monday! March 30, 2009

Ok, I am so excited for today, because I am going to see Lil Wayne, T-Pain, and Gym Class Heroes with my girls, Brooke and Jenn!! So excited! It is going to be amazing! I pretty much love Lil Wayne!!!  I can’t wait for the car ride there and waiting before the show, and everything in between! I LOVE CONCERTS!! Last summer I went to so many I can hardly keep count!  But I loved every one of them! I met Natasha Bedingfield, Kate Voegele and The Veronicas on my Birthday, plus the show was amazing and I got to see it with my two best friends, Kyle and Jessica!  I saw Augustana, Jon McLaughlin, John Mayer and Colbie Callait, Sara Bareilles, Maroon 5, Counting Crows, Duffy, Lenka, Gavin Degraw, Katy Perry, David Archuletta, Girls Like Boys, and Jesse McCartney!  All Amazing!!!!!

I definitely have to get my homework done before we leave because I have class the next day, and will be home hella late!

I need to get back on track… March 29, 2009

I’ve been cutting classes way too much lately! I seriously cannot believe myself because I am trying to transfer next winter and have to have great grades! There is just this one class that I HATE SOOO MUCH and my days are so long, 10:30am to 4:30 pm without a break!  I don’t know why I didn’t this to myself but I am definitely feeling it.  I skip my English class to go get lunch and sometimes I want to sleep in so I don’t go to my first history class.  I’m pretty good about my Art History class because Its my favorite and I’ve only left once in the middle because I was so tired and hungry.  And then my last class of the day is also one of my favorites and I try to not miss that one either but the other day I was just soo drained that I left after Art History.  UGGGH I don’t know why I let myself do this but I HAVE TO STOP!

Ok i just had to vent that…

• Go see I Love You Man and Duplicity they are worth the money.  I have to say though they aren’t the best movies ever but still good.  I Love You Man is probably the better of the two.
• I just got this thing added to my iTunes called the iLike sidebar, and its pretty much like the Genius sidebar but the iLike sidebar is connected to your facebook.  Check it out!
• Get The Fear by Lily Allen…AMAZING!

Sunny Day! March 25, 2009

Wow today was a beautiful day in Sonoma, CA! I wore a dress! A blue shift (J.Crew last season) with black leggings.  If I do say so myself, I loved my outfit today!  Lets see, I went to school from 10:30 to 4:30 and now I am back still babysitting these kids.  I will be done tonight though, around 9! SO EXCITED to sleep in my own bed tonight!

Today’s interests:

• Maroon 5 remix album! I’ve been listening to it since December and I am still loving it! It’s pretty much all the great songs they’ve done and they just redid them and made them better! Favs: Woman (Sam Farrar remix), If I Never See Your Face Again feat. Rihanna, and Makes Me Wonder (Just Blaze remix).
• Turkey Sandwich on herb foccacia with avocado, cheddar cheese, pesto mayo, and mixed greens. I’m IN LOVE!
• Britney Spears “If You Seek Amy” honestly, I’m not that in to BSpears but I love this song! Its so strange and crazy! I love to dance and sing to it!
