Tonight I went to a tribute for Julianne Moore at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival! Kyle came up from L.A. to go with me because my film teacher gave the entire class (130 students) 2 tickets each!! It was so exciting to get dressed up and go downtown to this event! Julianne Moore was sitting like four rows away from us and she looked stunning! She was wearing this great fuschia dress and super sexy Louboutin heels! 
It was such a great event! It started at 8pm and didn’t end until 10:30pm! But she talked about all of her movies and they showed some clips from many of her movies. After hearing about all the great movies she has been in I’m totally going to put them all in my Netflix Queue! HAHA
Even though I missed the new Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice tonight is was worth it! Its was nice to do something in Santa Barbara other than the normal college routine…I felt very sophisticated and grown up going to this and I hope more opportunities for me come up because I love going to events like these!
I had such a blast tonight! And now I’m eating Valentine’s cookies with my Roomie!!
I’ve had almost 6 weeks off for break about 10 more days to go and I haven’t written on here once. But I would like to share what I have done over the past month, so here it is.
So this break has been pretty eventful and I am sure that these last 10 days will be twice as crazy as the rest of my break! I getting ready to be ready to head back down to SB but, I love nor cal and Sonoma I don’t want to leave quite yet!
Jeez am i bad at this whole blog thing. To my defense i have been pretty busy since my last post.
school began August 24th and has been going pretty well so far. Right now I am majoring in Art History, so i am taking a class from Ancient to Gothic art, which I love. We just finished learning about Ancient Egypt (i could talk about it all day long)! I am also taking an Intro to Botany class, which is also super fun and interesting. The lab is my favorite, we get to look at plants under microscopes, study flowers, and make marmalade! I am also taking an english class online, as well as a math class partially online. I only have to go to the class once every other week, which is nice. I absolutely love my school! SBCC is so pretty, the view of the ocean is amazing, and i have met some really nice people so far.
besides school, i started babysitting for a family and love it! It’s these two boys, ages 7 and 9 with the brightest most interesting imaginations i have ever seen! They have the best ideas, and so many thoughts and things to say, i love it! and they live on a big ranch, so there is always something to do.
I’ve gone home twice in the past month, and am going home again next weekend for a wedding (my best friend’s mom is getting married and i’m catering!) Its been good, ive been getting an even amount of IV, and Sonoma, i think it’s good for me. Last weekend, i went to Vegas, with some new friends and we had a blast. Some interesting stories and adventures, but I had such a great time!

wow i have been so busy lately…i did say i would forget to write on here!
OK so, my best friend is home for a couple weeks and i have been spending every minute with him!! He is the best and I’ll be sad when he leaves for Malibu in May. But it wont be long until I’m in sunny Santa Barbara for the summer and i can drive down to Malibu to see him! I am just so excited to move!! Especially since I’ll be living with my girl, we are gonna have a blast!!
Anyways, i have been so busy with school, work, and actually a tiny social life so i’ll try to get back on here regularly!
Wow today was a beautiful day in Sonoma, CA! I wore a dress! A blue shift (J.Crew last season) with black leggings. If I do say so myself, I loved my outfit today! Lets see, I went to school from 10:30 to 4:30 and now I am back still babysitting these kids. I will be done tonight though, around 9! SO EXCITED to sleep in my own bed tonight!

So, I decided to start a blog. I don’t really know what to write, I think that things will come to me, I’ve never been very good at writing things down, so hopefully this will change that habit!
Its Monday and I have homework to do, but defintely have not started on that…I’m pretty sure I have a paper due tomorrow but I am babysitting until tomorrow night so I am a little bit distracted, I’ve been babysitting since Friday and am so ready to be done!! I am so happy I don’t have kids…so not ready! Maybe in 10 years!
All I really want to do is hang out and relax with my friend, Jessica, who is home for Spring Break but my life is so hectic right now that I hardly have any time to just chill.
I think that I am going to focus on three main themes in this blog. Film and Media that I see or am interested in, food, and fashion. At this point in my life, I am trying to figure out what to major in and what I want to do for a career! This has probably been one of the hardest parts of my life, I literally have no idea! But right now I am leading towards majoring in Film and Media studies with a concentration in media communications, and minoring in Art History.
I will probably fall from focus sometimes, but my brain is pretty scattered so, I tend to just write about what I’m thinking or what I am doing…
